The tiles throughout the hotel grounds look fantastic, however when they’re wet you will slip. The general consensus about the pool was that people were really unhappy with the communication and service provided. They also Never put signs up to help the guests staying in that building. I just think that is ridiculous for the price. All week people we spoke to by the pool had to take the stairs or Double back on themselves using another lift. It wasn’t our building, but in another building the lift broke and they just left it. They also take your temperature when they feel like it, so it’s unsure if they’re abiding by the rules or not. Is it so hard to stock the restaurants? I did hear some stories of people paying 5usd for masks but we honestly weren’t charged, it Was just the constant inconvenience from a 5 star resort. So you can’t get assistance from your own reception, you have to go all the way the other side for a mask. However you can only get spare masks from the main lobby( even if you’re in the adult section).
You need a mask for all Restaurants, which is fine, I respect the precautions due to COVID. The food portions are very small, but in fairness if you ask for two they will do it. They’ve Thought of everything to make your stay as unwelcoming or as lucrative to the hotel as possible. So you’ll go up to your room to grab your things, have to return to reception, to then get a pass for 15 minutes to grab your things or you will be charged. I’m not sure when, but when We returned to our room at 11:50 to literally grab our things and go, we couldn’t get in. Your tour operator will tell you check out is at 12, but they wipe your room key before this. It’s all through your television, but it’d have been nice if that would have been explained.

We checked into the adult scene and was provided zero information about how to use the WiFi or amenities. You’ll see sanitising stations everywhere but the majority will be empty, you’ll also be lucky if you get soap in the toilets. They were just told Go There are No snacks in the room unless you’re “star class” because they want you to pay 8USD for Cheetos downstairs. It closed at 8pm one day, 9pm another, even though there were guests sitting at the bar. Lobby bar in the adults section says 11pm, That was never the case during our stay. It’s easier for the guest to make another selection. Basically walking to the other bar inside and restocking it is just too much trouble. You’re simply told they’ll have it tomorrow. One day they ran out Prosecco at the pool bar. So don’t expect to saunter down at 10:50 and be fed, as they won’t accommodate it.

For example Breakfast in the “adult scene” buffet is 6am - 11am (according to the sign, and in room information) closed at 10:20am and they stopped stocking the buffet. As they decided it was time for for you to go. The staff have a tiny window of opportunity to please you, which they do not breach. However, this is the first all inclusive I’ve ever stayed at where you are told “no” and on a regular basis.

The maids also do an excellent job of making the rooms spotless. Pool bar and general food about the hotel are amazing.
